Happy New Year Space Dragons,

 

1.  HOLIDAY PRACTICE SCHEDULE   

• Regular practice this Saturday, December 31st, LAST practice of 2011!!!
• No practice on Sunday, January 1st -- have a fun and safe New Year!
• Send 2011 off with a BANG!
• As always, don't forget to fill out the all-important POLL!

2.  2012 SEASON BEGINS!!! 1/7-1/8   

• 1st practices of the 2012 Season!!!  Practice attendance will be taken
• There may be changes to practice schedule, please keep your eyes on the blog.  What a topsy-turvy world we live in!
• Tempe is just around the corner, time to shake off the Holiday doldrums! And have you RSVP'd on the Evite and booked your hotel?
• And don't forget to fill out the POLL!

3.  ROSE PARADE FLOAT DECORATION -- 12/29

• Float decoration on Monday was SOOOO FUN, Marina is doing it again! this Thursday, TOMORROW
• Smell the flowers and get a sneak preview of some of Rose Parade floats as you help put on the finishing touches on one of them
• RSVP with Marina via Facebook
• Here are some details:

When: Thursday 12/29, 12p to 5pm

Place: (Same as Monday)

Clothes: old grubby clothes suggested, you will paint and glue on; wear layers, it could get cold in the warehouse
Food: not provided, either bring your own lunch/snack or bring money for the food truck
Age limit: sorry, you must be 13 and older
Tools: suggest bringing your own scissors, there's always a shortage
Valuables: there is no storage on site; also radios, ipods, CDs and cassettes are not permitted on site; cell phones are to be used outside the building due to interference with communication system inside
Parking: parking is available on the streets, remember to lock your car and secure all valuables

4.  SPACE RIPPLE MAMMOTH TRIP - 1/26 - 1/29

 

Important information, please read:

• There STILL 5 spots left!!!! JOIN THE FUN!
• Full $220 payment is due ASAP. (extended)
• Payment includes 3 nights lodging and dinner for each night.
• Limited to 24 spots. Currently 5 spots available.
• We'll be able to get most people on some type of mattress or sofa but beds go to those who pay first.
• Contact Andy for info on paying with your credit card.

Happy Holidays Space Dragons,

 

1.  HOLIDAY PRACTICE SCHEDULE   

• Regular practice this Saturday, December 24 and next Saturday December 31.
• No practice on: Sunday, December 25 and Sunday, January 1.
• Work out the kinks before the 2012 Season begins =D
• As always, don't forget to fill out the all-important POLL!

Yes! The rumor is true, weekday workouts are back. Email Emily for South Bay workouts and Devant for South Pas workouts.  You don't want to be that paddler who's still lugging around those holiday poundz when we get rolling with the 2012 season, do you? I thought not! Then see you on Tuesday nights!

Oh hey, did you guys notice? Tuesday workouts are back. With a vengeance.  Hitting hard in South Pasadena and in the South Bay.  Yep, it's GO time.  So let's GO!  Email for South Bay workouts and Devant for S. Pas workouts.  You don't want to be that guy who's still lugging around those holiday pounds when we get rolling with the 2012 season, do ya? Of course not! Then see you on Tuesday nights!

Space Dragons,

Pre-season off-the-water workouts keep you fit and ready for hearty Holiday eating without sacrificing fitness!

2.  PRACTICE

• Practice is back to normal schedule (Saturday and Sunday)!
• If you haven't already done so, please RSVP on the poll for practice!!! Paddler count accuracy is SOooo very important! (we almost very nearly had to leave people on the beach last Saturday because more people showed up than had responded to the poll - but TK helped us out in a big way and scored us a 2nd boat - let's try not to let that happen again!)
