So you might be wondering, what does this mean?
First - It means we have ONE LESS PRACTICE to prepare for Tempe. There are only seven practices until Tempe. A recent on-boat survey conducted by Devant revealed that no paddler on the boat felt they were ready for Tempe. Are you ready? Canceled practice doesn't mean you get to spend Saturday morning in front of the TV in sweat pants eating cheesy poofs. No, canceled practice means we need to work HARDER to get where we want to be. Keep up your personal work-outs. Don't have a personal work-out? Ask a coach or captain for tips or take a look at the blog archives. Need a work-out buddy? Don't hesitate to reach out to your teammates, afterall, you know exactly what they'll be doing on Saturday morning - working out!
Second - It means SAFETY ORIENTATION will be rescheduled for a later date. Remember, all paddlers are required to attend the Safety Orientation. Keep watching the blog, weekly digest, facebook and twitter for the latest information.
