2. FUNDRAISER @ THE ROSE BOWL – Sat Nov 24 & Tues Jan 1
- We are going to help sell concessions during UCLA football games at the Rose Bowl. We are working with another group to work either (or perhaps both) November 24 (v. Stanfud) and/or January 1 (the Rose Bowl Game).
- Jan 1 date fully staffed: Awesome!!!
- We're almost there, but need a few more people for the Nov 24th. ONLY a few more! Join the adventure!

3. SPLASHING FLYERS BOWLING TOURNAMENT – Sat Nov 10th
Splashing Flyers are again hosting their annual Inter-Dragon Boat Bowling Tournament on Sat Nov 10th, 2p-5:30p. Splashing sweeps it every year, can Space be a contender this year?

5. 2012 NAPLES CHRISTMAS BOAT PARADE – Sat Dec 17th
- SAVE THE DATE ... You DON'T want to miss this event
- Yes we've done it before and won 2 awards! It's A LOT of work and a lot of FUN to design, build and paddle your entry!
- No guaranty that we will get the limited opportunity (only 2 Dragon Boats allowed), but need to know we have an eager crew willing to put in the work to design and build so we can grab a spot!
- Only $5-$10 to help cover supplies!

6. 2012 CHRISTMAS CHARITY – Garth Kemp’s “Stuff a Bus” – Marina
- We will be participating in a So. Ca fund raiser to provide toys for children who are in need.
- Paddlers can bring their donation of new toys to Saturday practices, beginning Sat Nov. 3 =)
7. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY – Message from Zina

I've decided to do some good deeds in the off-season. So I am participating in a fundraising program for Habitat for Humanity (HFH). HFH is a charity organization that builds homes to help hardworking, limited-income families. Later on this year, I will be building a new home for a well-deserved lucky family.
We will be hosting a series of awesome fundraising events in downtown LA, and you are invited to attend! Every dollar counts, 100% of proceeds from all events will go straight to HFH!
(These events are all 21+, sorry youngies <3)
**Remember to contact Zina Hwang through Facebook or email her for questions about any these events, where to park in downtown LA, etc.**
FRI OCT 26Perch (a rooftop bar in a retro building with a beautiful downtown skyline view)
