I hope you're all rested up, because the Space Dragons 2011 season has begun!
The coaches had a pow-wow a few weeks ago to come up with a game plan to tackle the upcoming season. The goal? To make Space Dragons a force to be reckoned with! The bonus? To sculpt each and every one of you into a perfect specimen*:
We have some new ideas for 2011, in addition to our regular Sat/Sun/Wed water practices, Saturday land drills and Sunday core workouts. Remember the Sand Dune workouts**? We're hoping to bring back weekday workouts to a location near you. For those of you who are looking for more ideas to try on your own, keep your eye out for more workout, fitness and injury prevention tips on the blog that you can do on your own at home.
BUT, it takes all 20 paddlers working together to move a dragon boat, so we need the commitment and dedication of each and every one of you! So encourage your fellow paddlers to come out, break a sweat, and start the season strong with that Space Dragons spirit!
