If you could have an endless supply of any 3 food items, what would you have?
Honey bunches of oats with soy milk, fresh popcorn and franzia!

How long have you been paddling and what were you thinking when you got into Space?
A year and a half. Thought it would be a fun activity with fun people, and I was totally right.

Who got you into paddling and why do you do it week in and week out?
Wade. Makes me look forward to my weekends! And AJ’s mustache. Bring it back!

Under what conditions are you paddling at your best?
when em is hovering over me

Is there anyone non-paddling related in your life that motivates and inspires you?
My big sister Lorna. When my father passed away when I was a kid, she really stepped up and sort of became my other parent and took on crazy head-of-the-household type responsibilities that no 21 year old should ever have to think about. I don’t know how she did it, but I owe a lot to her and I cant overstate how much I respect her for it.

Favorite or notable Space Dragon moment(s)?
Finding out we took Tempe!  /tear.  Might as well have been the Olympics.

How do you prep yourself for a Race?
i like the pre-race jog to get the blood flowing and to get the mental focus started. The mental game was a surprise to me, the race is over so quickly, theres no time to react, you gotta be ready from the first stroke.

If you had a working time machine for a single day, where / when would you explore and why?
The middle ages, so I could see Robert paddle in a cotton t-shirt and sweats.

If AJ brings the 'stache back, will you, Robert? Please say you will!!!

What do you do when you're not paddling? Hobbies, activities, interests?
Music: I’m really into Bjork, Radiohead, I like the creepy and beautiful kind of vibe. Love to dance and karaoke too. I do a mean Ursula (little mermaid villain) impression
Love hanging out with my family especially my 17 month old niece Ronnie and my crippled dog Chalee.

Any advice for newbie paddlers?
Just keep at it, you’ll feel like you’re trying to write with your left hand for the longest time.  I felt gawky for the first 6 months.  Also, don’t get injured. It sucks.

Do you have any paddling related goals at the moment?
Fix my right side so my left trap and forearm stop hurting!
I was kinda hoping to get closer to  2:00 on OC-2  by the end of the year, but I only have one chance left now!  And maybe work out of bench 9/10, although I’ve been living here so long now, its kinda cozy.

Best thing about being a Space Dragon?

Most interesting character you've met through the team?
Dude. This is a trick question, bc everyone’s a character on this team! I think the one normal person on this team is Davin. He’s all well-adjusted and stuff.

If you were stranded on an island, which 3 Space Dragons would you want to be stranded with?
Brianne, Devant and Roger. I think between those three we have all types of humor covered. Also Devant can crack my back. And cook. It would be like a chopped episode every night: the secret ingredient is coconuts and fish again?
